Emily and I look forward to beginning a life on the water, but this doesn’t mean we don’t love our mountain life. We both try to get out and enjoy the mountains as much as we can while we are working toward a transition to life on Makara. 

I still have a few big goals to accomplish in the mountains before moving permanently onto Makara. I look forward to climbing El Capitan in Yosemite a few times in 2020 to complete some routes I have had on my list. There are also a few trails to run. You never know I may actually convince myself to run a 100 mile ultra marathon (completely scary, but compelling).
